On Monday, April 29, at 2:30 in The Chapel, room 101, Davis Smith will defend his senior thesis, "Literary Experience for the City of God." Please join us for an enlightening and lively conversation about "the meaning of literary experience and the concept of the literary life through theological eyes."

SOCL320 Research Presentations
Tue., April 30
The students in SOCL320 (Research Methods in Social Sciences) will present the results of their semester-long pilot study projects on Tuesday, April 30, at 6:30 p.m. in Honsey Hall, room 337. Student research groups investigated topics such as feelings of safety on campus, sleep and academic success, and academic majors and stress levels. Come learn what they discovered about these topics through their research.
Directing Showcase

The last theatre event of the season is here! The student directors of the Directing I class will present their final theatre scenes! What can you expect? An evening of drama, a few laughs, and all around good times! Join us Wednesday May 1 at 7 p.m. in the Lee Theater!
Online Billing OnlyReminder-In January we switched to online billing only. If you still owe for this semester please log into your MyBlc account and review & pay your bill. If your parents pay your bill you can give them access to view your bill online by signing up thru a link on your MyBlc account. If you don't want to sign them up then you are responsible for either giving them a copy of the bill to pay or login in and showing them. We will send a paper preliminary bill home in June then after that it will only be online.
To-Do List: 1 Week until Move Out

Things you should be doing now to be ready for move out! (1) Confirm the check-out time you scheduled on Sign Up Genius. (2) Pack up everything but the essentials including wall decorations (3) Check in with your move-out helpers to be sure you're on the same page for dates/time/location (4) Have cleaning supplies on hand (multi-purpose spray or wipes, broom or vacuum, mop). (5) If you live close to home, ask your helpers to help you to move out big items like a dresser or couch. REMEMBER, THE DEADLINE TO MOVE OUT OF THE RES HALLS IS 5 P.M. MAY 10

Extended Library HoursFinals are just around the corner! To help you prepare, the BLC Library will have extended hours from Monday, 4/29, to Wednesday, 5/8. Attention Graduating Seniors! Commencement Rehearsal is Thursday, May 9t at 1:00 p.m. in the South Gym in the Sports and Fitness Center. Please be on time so we can get you through as quickly as possible.

Fri., May 10
Graduates are to report no later than 8:30 a.m. on Friday, May 10 to the North Gym in the Sports and Fitness Center to receive their gown, cap, tassel, medallion, and hood for graduation. A group photo will be taken in the North Gym followed immediately by individual photos with the President in the Fireside Room. At 10:15am graduates, faculty, and administration will line up in Old Main to process in for the Commencement Ceremony which begins at 10:30am.
Check Your Mailbox/Update AddressSummer break is almost here! Just a friendly reminder to 1) check your on campus mailbox before you leave and 2) update your address on mail and packages (Amazon) to your summer or home address to avoid delays. Please keep in mind that it is a slow process to forward mail. And once mail is forwarded, there is no method to track it.
BLC Summer Track & Field Camp

Camp dates: July 16-19 grades K-5 Cost: $54 Time: 5:15 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., Grades 6-8 Cost: $106 Time: 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m., Grades 9-12 Cost: $160 Time: 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. This camp is for any track and field athlete or potential athlete, regardless of ability level.
