Psych Week STARTS TODAY!

Psychology Week kicks off with a talk related to our theme of "Forgiveness". Dr. Polly Browne will talk about "Forgiveness: What Is It, What Is It Not, and Whom Does It Benefit?" The talk will be in Honsey Hall 337 at 6:30 P.M. Everyone is invited to attend, and there will be refreshments after the talk. [NEXT EVENT: Video discussion (TED talk) about forgiveness (Tuesday)]
Psych Week Lunch Challenge (Monday-Wednesday)

During lunch today, tomorrow, and Wednesday, you will find psychology quizzes on the tables in the cafeteria and the Viking Village. Complete a quiz and turn it in to the box on the table behind Lucy. The top scorer will win a prize and be announced at the Psych Week Library Game Night on Friday.

Two MN House Candidates Visiting Campus

On Monday night at 8pm in the Lab the College Republicans will host Kim Spears and Joe Steck, who are both running for the Minnesota House of Representatives in the Mankato area. Please stop by to meet them so you can be better informed for the election and learn about how to get involved with their campaigns!
Yearbook Distribution Party

The yearbook staff is hosting a party for the yearbook distribution this year! If you bought a yearbook, or planning to buy one, come on down to the Lab at 7p.m. for some snacks, get your yearbook, and to purchase next year's! The yearbooks are currently at $35.
Free Walgreens Flu Shots

Tuesday, October 16th, Walgreens will be coming to Bethany to give FREE flu shots from 2:30 to 4 PM in the Viking Village. If you would like to get a free flu shot come to the Village during those times with your insurance card.

In Need of Academic Tutoring?If you would like to receive tutoring in academic coursework you can apply for free tutoring services through the Academic Resource Center. In MyBLC go to Academic Resources and complete the Tutoring Request Form. Once a tutor is located, Academic Resources will contact you with a potential tutoring schedule. Tutoring for writing should be arranged through the Ada Stokes Writing Center.
